Ritz Crackers
Ritz is the snack that’s always “Open for Fun,” so we created a playful, animated world that brought that fun to life, then launched several campaigns around it.
For the Superbowl, we partnered with several iconic NYC restaurants and had their chefs create game day recipes with Ritz and their most famous dishes. Recipes like Lombardi’s Ritz White Pizza Meatball Dip and Carnegie Deli’s Ritz Reuben were featured on allrecipes.com, giving everyone’s game day spread a little New York kick. We introduced the Ritz NY Blitz program with a 15 second TV spot, then followed up with digital banners and social media.
For our summer campaign, we continued to bring the playful Ritz personality to life by inserting it into the cultural conversation via fun, cheesy pop culture commentary. Working closely with our media team, we took out weekly ads in some of the biggest celebrity gossip magazines (Star, USWeekly, People) and created cheeky, playful headlines that were contextually relevant to the magazine content.
